Walking

Rowan is starting to get the whole walking thing down a lot better. Here is a little montage of videos demonstrating his progress. You even get to see his monkey/Mowgli (from Jungle Book) crawling/walking a little too! Also, one of our favorite things is that he keeps his left hand/arm up like he is holding someone's hand and walking, so cute.



And here is a short video of Rowan walking and fake crying because he really wants the camera. And so he's following Shey around walking, but also fake crying in hopes to grab the illustrious camera. Ridiculous.

California, here I come!

Josh's parents are moving to California this weekend and Rowan wanted them to know that he is boxed up and ready to visit!

Happy Halloween

...And Happy Birthday Josh! We spent the morning together down at the pumpkin patch with our friends Jesse, Liz and their daughter Josephine. Rowan's favorite part is pretending to drive the tractor. Thanks Ma-maw for the cute spider shirt!

Pumpkin patch

Today, Josh and I took Rowan down to the Owsley's pumpkin patch to pick out a few pumpkins and gourds and to get a ride on the hayride. Rowan enjoyed himself and really liked being pulled around in the wagon. Overall, we had a great afternoon!

For G-dawg

Josh's dad sent Rowan this hat awhile ago. Rowan found it in the closet today and was so pleased he insisted on wearing it around the house while he did laps with his lion.

Walking and Beatboxing

Here are a couple of new videos (and two of my favorite yet!). The first is one of Rowan beatboxing. One of the happiest days of my life is when Rowan started imitating Biz Markie on his favorite TV show Yo Gabba Gabba by replicating his beatbox sounds. If Rowan grows up to love hip-hop and soccer my life will basically be complete.



In the second video Rowan is starting to really enjoy the lion that Gram and G-Dawg gave him for his birthday this year. Here is a tour of our apartment via Rowan walking the lion.

Rowan sleeps like this often, and it always makes me laugh to find him this way. He is curled up on his little bulldog that he sleeps with.
