Josh's parents are moving to California this weekend and Rowan wanted them to know that he is boxed up and ready to visit!

Pumpkin patch
Today, Josh and I took Rowan down to the Owsley's pumpkin patch to pick out a few pumpkins and gourds and to get a ride on the hayride. Rowan enjoyed himself and really liked being pulled around in the wagon. Overall, we had a great afternoon!
This is a series of pictures I like to call, "Why do I have to share my wagon with this pumpkin?".
I don't want to share my wagon with this pumpkin...maybe I can lift it out....
Maybe I can pull it out by this steam thing...
Maybe I can push it out...
Ahhh, a back rest, much better!
I love photos of Rowan in profile, his long eyelashes and sweet little nose get me every time.
Very focused trying to drive the tractor.

For G-dawg
Walking and Beatboxing
Here are a couple of new videos (and two of my favorite yet!). The first is one of Rowan beatboxing. One of the happiest days of my life is when Rowan started imitating Biz Markie on his favorite TV show Yo Gabba Gabba by replicating his beatbox sounds. If Rowan grows up to love hip-hop and soccer my life will basically be complete.
In the second video Rowan is starting to really enjoy the lion that Gram and G-Dawg gave him for his birthday this year. Here is a tour of our apartment via Rowan walking the lion.

Recent photos
There is no common theme in these photos, just random ones that I have been meaning to post.
A few left over from the beach
This is Rowan's monkey walk...
Standing all by himself outside...
The other day Rowan asked to have breakfast with me (after he had already eaten) so we are having some special K together, milk on the side :)
Rowan sleeps like this often, and it always makes me laugh to find him this way. He is curled up on his little bulldog that he sleeps with.

Wetsuit
Today was a hot one and since Rowan screams like he is being tortured when ever we bring him near the ocean he beat the heat by playing with the hose. This provided hours of entertainment. Since we are so close to the ocean, it's no big deal if we never leave the deck. I love him in this wetsuit, it takes a lot of self control not to squeeze him all day long when he is wearing it!

Look how close we are to the ocean! During high tide the water is about three feet from the stairs. This is the only way to go to the beach with a toddler! You can enjoy the ocean without ever having to get sandy.

Playing in the sand
Rowan has been a little timid about the sand and water, but has discovered the joy of smashing the sand castles that Josh builds for him.
Is this an Uncle Casey face or what?
He kept sticking his finger is Josh's ear, it was making me laugh very hard.
Walking only holding one hand...on a mission for shells.
